We use this 100 x 30mm profile in primary colours for picnic bench tops.

We do like a nice bit of wood.

Problem is, it doesn't stay looking so beautiful for long like this rotten one above.

It's a lot of work keeping wood maintained with varnish, paint and preservatives that are sometimes quite toxic.
