A Portable, Children's, Double Width Play Kitchen Cooker - Recycled Plastic HDPE

We had lots of single Kitchen Units, but some schools wanted a slightly bigger unit, so these double width units were born.

We added handles to make them easy to move about, and teachers love them and kids love them too.

The brightly coloured, recycled plastic is very attractive, and will not fade in the sun as the plastic is UV protected.

They do not rot of course, so can be left outside in all weathers throughout the year, though you can use them indoors too.

The units are very durable and can be expected to last for many generations of children.

From a purely financial perspective these units are very good value for money, as they will not bring the recurring costs of maintenance, repair and even replacement associated with the wooden versions of this type of play equipment.

Please note that the HDPE material in this product is unfortunately NOT recycled plastic though offcuts are recycled back into new material. As we do not separate plastics into their respective colours and types of plastic very effectively in the UK, solid bright colours are difficult to make with waste plastic. Consequently, our black HDPE is the only one containing 80-100% recycled plastic material. We are continuing to research a recycled plastic alternative in bright colours which may arrive as plastic separation technology develops. Parts of the product are 100% recycled plastic waste from used CD cases and contact lens cases.
